With more than 60 recruitment professionals based in Reading, the business provides contract and permanent recruitment solutions to blue-chip organisations and SMEs throughout the UK.
The Opportunity
This is a client-focused 180° business development and account management role covering the Blue- and White-Collar Construction sectors.
Supported by an experienced Senior Sales Manager and a dedicated Delivery Team, you will concentrate on generating new business, developing key accounts and providing recruitment solutions tailored to each client’s requirements.
The Delivery Team will manage candidate sourcing and recruitment fulfilment, allowing you to focus on building commercially valuable client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and targeting new business opportunities across the Blue- and White-Collar Construction sectors.
- Generating new clients through telephone-based business development, networking, referrals and market research.
- Arranging and attending meetings with prospective and existing clients.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
- Managing and developing key accounts.
- Understanding client requirements and developing tailored recruitment solutions.
- Negotiating rates, terms of business and preferred supplier agreements.
- Managing your own sales pipeline and maintaining accurate records.
- Working closely with the Delivery Team to ensure an excellent service.
- Achieving agreed individual and team revenue targets.
About You

Salary and Benefits
- Basic salary of £35,000–£50,000, depending on experience.
