This is an opportunity to recruit within a busy, skills-short market where demand for qualified engineering professionals remains consistently strong. You will manage the complete recruitment process while developing lasting relationships with specialist clients and candidates throughout the UK.
The Role
You will recruit permanent and contract professionals for Fire and Security businesses, managing assignments from initial vacancy through to successful placement.
Typical positions include:
- Fire and Security Service Engineers
- Security Installation Engineers
- Commissioning Engineers
- Fire Alarm Engineers
- Electrical Engineers
- Multi-Skilled Engineers
- Project Managers
- Technical and engineering support professionals
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identifying and generating new business opportunities.
- Taking detailed vacancy requirements and advising clients on market conditions.
- Sourcing and approaching specialist Fire and Security professionals.
- Screening candidates and managing the interview process.
- Negotiating offers and overseeing placements.
- Building a strong network within the Fire and Security market.
- Achieving agreed revenue and activity targets.
About You
Previous recruitment experience within the Fire and Security sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
Applications are also welcomed from Recruitment Consultants with experience in:
- Engineering
- M&E

- Technical recruitment
You should be commercially minded, confident developing business and capable of building strong relationships with clients and candidates. Most importantly, you will have the ambition to develop a successful desk within a specialist, fast-moving technical market.
What’s on Offer?
- Basic salary of £35,000–£45,000, depending on experience.
